Technical Specification

Pre-requisites for the software and Lawman installation are:

A server with Windows Operating System
Windows 2000 or later - 32 Bit version is supported currently although 64 bit versions will be available in the future
SqlServer Database 2000/2005/2008.

Lawman can work on SqlServer Express which is free to download.

SqlServer Express does have some operational limits which should be fine to start with as Lawman does not generate high database loading or network traffic.

Desktops: they should be capable of running programs using the .Net Framework
In practice this means a Pentium class CPU, 512 MB Ram and a hard drive of 500MB.
On each desktop Outlook and Word must be available. Access to Lawman will be via an Icon on each user's desktop.
